It seems like 2011 is turning into the year of print exchanges. So far I've sent prints off to Wingtip Press's Leftovers Exchange, The International Print Exchange of South Korea, and Oxbow Press's 2.25 Exchange. Tomorrow I'll ship out an edition of this black and white print for an exchange organized by Micheal W. Jones at letstradeprints.com. I'm considering sending stuff to at least 4 other exchanges, including my own Littlest Print Exchange. And, I'm sure a lot more exchanges will come up that I'll be interested in joining. In fact, I'm thinking of organizing one to raise funds to keep Inkteraction (a printmaker's social network that I'm helping to mediate) on the web.
I've gotten so invested in these projects that I started a website to, hopefully, make it easier for others to find out about upcoming print exchanges. printexchanges.blogspot.com
